There was a game i really enjoyed, Black Moon Chronicles. But it mysteriously dissappeared just like that*snap*.
Now i can say Dungeons and Dragons Online is Nr.1 , if the cuts in content werent that big it would be ftp Lord of the rings online.

There are a few very good flash games out there too. Momentum Missile Mayhem, Space Game, Thing Thing Arena, Alice is Dead, The Endless War games and so on.

Battlefield Heroes. I have just started playing it in the last few days and it is the most fun I have had in a game for a while now.

I played that for a bit, got bored after a week though.

I've just been thinking about this actually as I was going through my old CD collection where I discovered Freespace 2! Bit of googling and now I'm playing the Blue Planet expansion which is bloody brilliant! (Link below). So, Blue Planet is my best free game (even though technically I needed FS2 first, but I bought it so long ago it's basically free now).

some Hl: 2/cs:S mods are fantastic, but if you're more a DoTA guy, you should play LoL.

but the BEST F2P game I've EVER played is Quake Live, although you can pay to get better stuff.

Holy crap. Too many acronyms and you can't even begin to try to look up what LoL is if you don't already know...
