Heavy Rain. European though. But yeah definately Heavy Rain. I just think it is really badass and very subtly awesome.

This, the European version is excellent. On my Special Edition cover you can run your fingers down and feel the bump of the rain drops.

I like the American Resident Evil 5 cover, no idea why but I liked it. Better than the English one with the big 5 on it.

Not really, common factor there is a broody protagonist/combatant. It's almost as generic in execution as the Mass Effect 2 box art. Well... further away than almost. Had I not played the first the second would never have gotten played based on it's box.

Better to hint at the storyline (in my opinion):

Max Payne, who is the embodiment of the broody protagonist.
