If you ask someone what the best videogame ever created is there will be varying opinions you will probably hear things like Ocarina of Time, Halo or if they are a veteran gamer some obscure title that sold a handful of cartridges before the company went bust.
I think though that people overlook one of the greatest videogame of all time simply because it's so simple and if you've played it you have to give it the respect it deserves.
Here's why:
-It's simple and easy to play, and anyone new to the game can pick up and play it in a second.
-It's a legendary game but there isn't many fanboys for it.
-It doesn't need ridiculously detailed graphics.
-There's no story, setting or character's but it still manages to be a rich experience when played.
-There's no casual or hardcore with this game.
The only downside to it is it's so famous it's been tacked onto every cheap "1500+ games in one" compilation game in history which damages it's reputation.
The game is of course Pong, if there was a definitive greatest it would be this game, Pong is always fun and it really has no flaws in terms of gameplay.
I challenge you to prove me wrong.
