Best game fight scenes

What are the best action scenes you have seen or experienced in a game, cutscene or actual gameplay? The bigger and larger the scale the better. Mine would be the whole of Toribash. Every last second of it.

I'm going to go with the opening fight of Devil May Cry 4, Dante vs. Nero.

Metal Gear series has great scenes, especially 4 involving Raiden and Vamp.

The Boss vs. Maero cutscene in Saints Row 2 is one of my favourite cutscene fights of all time, purely because of how raw and brutal it is. Plus it shows how much of a bad-ass the player character is, being able to hold his/her own against a juiced up gorilla like Maero.

Halo Wars. The Spartan 3-man team v. Covenant Deth Squadron Alpha plus Echo. Shows the true power of a team of Spartan-II's (Reach featured the cheaper, less effective, Spartan III's) that we've only experienced once in any of the Halo games. Best cutscene in Halo Wars, one of the best cutscenes in the entire series.

If he'd have jumped into the middle of a Spartan army, it would've been a much shorter video.

Kos-mos Vs. T-elos from Xenosaga III. Ridiculous lady androids engage in over the top sparring match. It's a cutscene, but like 80% of the 3 Xenosaga games are cutscene.

I'd like to expand that to everything Dante and Nero do throughout that entire game.

Also, God of War. Everything's pretty impressive, but I think the poseidon fight in 3 has to take it.

I'd say the best one-on-one fights I've ever seen were in Toribash, not that "every last second of it" is badass. When I played, sometimes a server would have two people jumping around without damaging each other, while people wait for the match to end.

When Toribash is good, though, you see lots of flying kicks and disembodied body parts coming to life to attack the other player.

I haven't seen many large-scale melee battles in games. Lugaru has some good challenges where you can choose to fight 10 people at once, although only a very skilled and lucky player will survive.
