what game gives the most fun for being evil in it?

Prototype
The whole game is about homicidal fun. You can kill everyone you want in ton's of creative ways and the game will not try to stop you in any way.
Good call with prototype but i'd suggest Infamous instead. where with alex mercer you can be a right rotten bastard but no one calls you on it and theres no real punishment for your deeds. In infamous when you take the evil route theres not mutch to do gameplay wise except zapping pedestrians, the evil moral choices make you feel like a right nasty mother and npc's start to hate you, your appearance changes and your allies tread carefully around you. Eventually you start to actually feel like a bastard and thats rare in games, plenty of games give you the evil option but hardly any make you feel like your actually ruining peoples lives.

Yes but in Prototype you can eat people! :D

I think I will check out Dungeon Master later, setting traps to kill those snarky good guys sounds like a great time for me

Have to agree with the above : Evil Genius or Dungeon Keeper.

Although TF2 has certain ways for being very evil...Gentlemen?

Definitely DK. I mean those poor Imps, just getting slapped around all the time...Oh no wait, that was just me doing it.
Also agree with Prototype, something very satisfying about throwing civilians up in the air before violently slamming them into the ground.
Fable 2 and 3 were also good for having people cower before you in terror.

I gotta say the strongest contender for best alignment good/evil system is Easily in the Black and white games.

Dungeon Keeper or Dungeons (Pretty much just DK with a graphics update, got it yesterday :D)
These. Dungeon Keeper is a given, but Black and White just gives you SO many options for being a bastard.

Fireballs, lightning, flinging helpless villagers across the map, feeding them to your pet monster, crushing with rocks, sacrificing at your temple altar, or just a good old-fashioned godly smiting from your handy orbital laser.

The only games I have felt pretty evil in were Knights of The Old Republic, the Fallout series, and the Mass Effect series. I have done things in those video games that made me feel like a total villain who didn't have the slightest bit of empathy. It actually becomes difficult for me to be evil, cause I have sympathy for my NPC pals. For me to feel like an actual villain, a game has to immerse me. Otherwise, being evil is just plain fun.
