That was great until my freind kept on repeating G Man's monolouge.rossatdi said:Half Life 1 & 2 are the classics for me.
Best line ever to start a game:
"So wake up Mr Freeman, and smell the ashes."
Perfect way to set the scene without blatant exposition.

I think FFVIII has one of the silliest intros I've ever seen in a game.. flash words in front of the screen that make very little sense, show scenes of characters that you don't know or care about, and show two guys in some All encompassing duel of the fates, only to find that they're sparring..Caliostro said:This has been done before, but in your defense, I can't find the damn thread either. So anyways
- FFVIII
- Crysis
- Assassin's creed
- Left4Dead

Just something about Ron Fuckmothering Perlman's Voice talking about how War never changes, and then.. You're born, from a first person perspective.. it's surreal, and it's definitely something I had never seen before.
I was going to say that.. it is one of my favorite FMV sequences in gaming history.EonEire said:Onimusha 3 had a really good one.
Baldur's Gate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Kmmggc6jH8 Kevin Michael Richardson really brought Sarevok alive for me. :3I, will be the last! But you, will go first.
