If I had to pick only one, I guess it'd be Installation 00 in Halo 3; so big, so beautiful, such varied terrain, such a great sky...

It's a tight race though, with Rapture, Halo, the Citadel, southern Kenya, Coruscant, and a dozen others.

Ravenholm (Half-Life 2) or Venezuela (Mercenaries 2)

Ravenholm is up there with the scariest places in gaming, and Venezuela is so large and ready for exploration, you're just swept off your feet when you open the PDA and see 64 square kilometers of area to explore.

As mentioned before Rapture from Bioshock is amazing.
I also thought the 'Pripyat level' in COD4 was fantastic.
Anvil in oblivion was really nice aswell.
Oh and the FBI labs/office in Condemned 2 were also pretty awesome for a location.
