Hey, I played that! It really was pretty great.MaxChaos said:Back in the day, when Half-Life mods were literally bursting the very seams of the internet, I wasted countless days and evenings on this fantastic single-player mod based loosely on Apocalypse Now. It was called Heart Of Evil and was thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyable.
Agreed. Gmod is by far the best mod out there.TheYellowCellPhone said:It does, if it doesn't it should. I second GMod.Lemon Of Life said:Does GarrysMod count?
I think I've seen you on there before, what's your main guy again (rather than clog the topic, add as friend and PM me)?UltimatheChosen said:Mine, as well. You probably recognize me if you use Median's forums... my username there is Prometheus.KillerH said:Anyway, my favorite would have to my median XL for Diablo II.
Very true. It does bring another level of depth to the combat. Now I just wish I could find a solid run animation mod that doesn't look like you're floating above the ground.the_dancy_vagrant said:Oh definitely, I agree with you. But the sheer amount of work that they put into that mod really blew my mind when I first installed it. Modifying artwork to be prettier than stock is never a wasted effort. But actually taking the time to modify the inner workings of the game as much as that mod is a whole different realm of dedication.TheDuckbunny said:Yea, it's pretty neat. Still, I never use it because I think the screams they added to NPC's decapitations are just silly. ;Pthe_dancy_vagrant said:Have you checked out the one that makes the combat more interesting? I think (iirc) it's called deadly reflexes. It adds a whole bunch of nastiness to the combat, critical strikes, instant kills, plus you can decapitate people with your sword. Probably the single most impressive mod I've ever come across.TheDuckbunny said:I really enjoy all those mods that make Oblivion look that much prettier. It still looks better than most games coming out now!
