OP: I'm sure many people will say Mass Effect, but I thought Mass Effect was a steaming pile of shite, and so did many others. In my opinion, The Orange Box is the game of the decade. I liked the orange box, its not my favorite game/games by far, but Half Life was so far ahead of its time.

Well Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn was released in 2000, so I'll go with that. Ten years now and there still hasn't been a game to match it!

I know that feeling. Dragon Age was an awesome game, but it still disappointed me because I was comparing it to BGII. I don't think I will ever find a game that's better :/

My favourite game is grammar and spell check. Best game of the decade, but not many people know about it. Spread the word, it's free, and it runs on every computer, Mac or PC! I know right?
