No when i edited my double post, it glitched and made an entirely new post as well, it was no intentional double post.

Shadow of the Colossus, i know it's unlikely, but still, a brilliant game like that i had to mention it.
Ico...
Team Ico are working on something big right now. And as usual, people who decided to switch this console generation will ***** about it.

http://www.scei.co.jp/synthesis/career/wanda.html
I have no idea what that's about but I see the words Ico and PS3 together. I like that.
Ico are based in Japan. The thing is a help wanted ad. Why would it be in english?
At no point did I say it should be in English. I simply stated I did not understand said page but was excited about a ps3/ico pairing.

Chrono Trigger all the way
Um...Radical Dreamers and Chrono Cross....
Holy crap how come I never found Chrono Cross?? Is it anywhere near as good as the original?
Chrono Cross isn't a true sequel at all. I don't consider it one.
both chrono cross and radical dreamers take place in the same universe as chrono trigger, and both games center around some of the same things that took place in chrono trigger, so how then can you say that its not a sequal? just because it doesent directly continue with the exact same characters and all that shit?
Pretty much isn't that what a sequel is supposed to be?
Try Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2. I believe that this sequel is completely different from the original game. The only thing that remains intact is gameplay. It's still a sequel even though it's not using the same people. It's just not a direct continuation of the story.

Radical Dreamers is an old text adventure that was not accepted by the company and pitched instead of being released, and Chrono Cross was basically taking Radical Dreamers and making it into a full blown rpg. They used the same music from RD and a chunk of CC was RD. So in truth, it would be a remake of the failed idea of 'Radical Dreamers' with a Chrono slap-on name to attract people, and not a true sequel of Chrono Trigger.

The feel of CC was so dramatically different, with multiple characters you could not give a sack of shit over.

Either way, and I honestly feel like a broken record player over this, but Skies of Arcadia was a fantastic role-playing adventure and did not, as far as I know, receive a sequel. Honestly, I think it doesn't need one.

On the by, to fix an arguement that happened above the Chrono one: Ico is not a sequel to Shadow of the Colosus as Ico was made first. The term for this sort of situation would be 'Prequel'; ie, Shadow of Colosus is a prequel to Ico. Much like how Lufia 2 is a prequel to Lufia 1, even if it came out after the first one. 'Sequel' refers to structure of release, the second one literally made in the series by numerical default, and normally not used to dictate plot sequence - for the simple pleasure of not confusing those who buy the games. The word 'prequel' helps keep things in order when you're naming series in a row.

Legend of Dragoon. Definetly, I'm not even a big JRPG fan but that was a quality title.
I have to agree with this one.

Freedom Fighters. Just finished it earlier today. Great game, too bad the sequel got squashed thanks to, oh, what was the shitty little game called, oh right, Kane and Lynch. Bad move, IO.

Not to mention, a KotOR 3 that is NOT an MMO, but wait, that's right, making a MMO is the POP-U-LAR thing to do now.

Even though it's already coming, I just wish they would get on top of releasing info about the Jericho sequels.

Xenogears.

Although the ending doesn't leave much for one.
Xenogears doesn't need a sequel. Xenogears needs someone to go back and insert about 20 or so hours of gameplay between the 10 or so hours of cutscenes on disk two, so it doesn't feel like I'm watching a slideshow with the occasional boss battle stuck in to make sure the player hasn't gone off to take a nap. Preferably the design team that made the game in the first place.

Well, on one hand, Loom didn't get a sequel and it was a great game. On the other hand, I'm not sure how much I would have wanted a sequel to come out for it. I mean, I heard a rumour that Loom was the first part of a pre-planned trilogy, in which case I'm sure the sequels would have been great. But if they decided to make a sequel for the sake of a sequel, I'm sure they'd make it suck.

Psi Ops was really good. Hell i wish half the games on this generation of systems had those physics
I know right? Throwing dudes into electrical fences, good times... Lolz to be had.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 would be nice. I enjoyed the tag feature alot and thought it was well done. Now all we have to do is better tag team attacks and we have one of the best 3-D fighters ever.

How's about a new Dino Crisis? And don't say "Turok" because Turok sucked and is not scary. RE4 it up, give me a strafing shoot option and we are ready to go.

And what happened to Donkey Kong? Remember Donkey Kong 64 and how fucking awesome that game was? Why, Nintendo? Why is it you find it cool to sell off and resurrect Banjo Kazooie or whatever, but not one of the best N64 games ever? WHY?! I don't want to play the fucking Bongos, I want to play as my favorite gorilla. Screw Mario, Donkey Kong was the man, and yet he gets shafted with retarded rythmn games and side roles in all of Mario's side projects. Gimme a real Donkey Kong game again!

And a serious question, can I say "fuck" without getting probation or whatever (Yahtzee does it a bit)?

KOTOR and Legacy of Kain both need endings. BADLY!

Otherwise, I'd say a full fledged sequel to SMRPG would not be unappreciated.
