I watch it every now and again... such a perfect trailer for an action-heavy game. They probably spent more time developing that trailer than they did making the actual game.

Final Fantasy VII TV Spot trailers (They said it couldn't be done in a major motion picture!....... they were right! FINAL FANTASY VII! playstation)

Ones that I think didn't really have good editing but, I enjoyed anyway

There was a Jak and Daxter trailer on an old PS2 demo disc that I had (that went missing somehow which made me sad) that was really good and made me REALLY want the game.
The Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer released earlier this year that had gameplay. Excited that I got to see so much gameplay in the game for the first time.

I was going to say SWTOR just as I clicked the thread. Makes the game look quite a bit more action packed then it will end up.

But, i'll go with some more original trailers.

First up: The first Assassin's Creed:
Altair was such a cool character when I first saw him

Another mention goes to another AC game, the ACII Gameplay trailer is one of my favourites, a big part of that is due to the epic genesis song by Justice which syncs up perfectly, it got me so excited for ACII:

Blizzard have done some pretty amazing trailers, but the original wow cinematic is still epic. I chose my first dwarf Hunter because of it.


Honorable mention to The Burning Crusade cinematic, for it's great (and oft spammed ad nauseum line) from Illidan at the end

best live action: Halo 3/Halo 3: ODST

best CGI: Star Wars: The Old Republic/The Force Unleashed 2, Prey 2, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect 2 etc. there are so many great CGI trailers. i love to see the good ones. people should stop complaining about getting CGI trailers instead of gameplay trailers. the gameplay trailers come eventually. just appreciate the beautiful CGI trailer first.

best gameplay trailer: the Battlefield 3 gamescom trailer was pretty damned impressive. ive watched it like 20 times now lol
