Best game trailers you've ever seen?

Out of the recent trailers I would say the first Guild War 2 trailer and Super Stre Fighter 4.

Sheesh, a lot of people are so hyped for the new games coming out they're primarily posting new trailers.

Skyrim and Dead Island are two of my favourites.

Most Bioware trailers area epic, too bad the combat in their games don't really capture it.

Really? Remember the "This is the New Shit" trailer for Dragon Age: Origins? Don't get me wrong, loved the game, love BioWare, but that has to be one of the worst trailers I've ever seen. For one thing, it is in no way indicative of what the game is actually like; for another, it makes the game look like a dumb kill-fest when there's a whole lot more to it; and finally, it's just bad.


This, on the other hand, is how you do a game trailer. The Dead Island one was also extremely good, but loses most of its points for being absolutely nothing like the actual game. The Reach trailer, while live action, captures the mood and feel of the finished game very well.

I've always really enjoyed the Duke Nukem Forever trailer from E3 2001:

I watch it every now and again... such a perfect trailer for an action-heavy game. They probably spent more time developing that trailer than they did making the actual game.

Ooooh, you sneaky ninja. That's my favorite trailer of all time, but I doubt what they had at that time was actually that epic. The amazing music really helps. :]
