Best game type and why?

You know, I really can't nail down a genre, just trends. I play a lot of FPS, and after playing a bunch of them, I start really jonseing for a RTS. The more mindless the FPS, the more I want a RTS, and the deeper the RTS, the more I could go for a FPS. They seem to balance each other out for me. TPS fill a similar niche as FPS, just usually with something tacked on to split the focus, whether its some Melee, stealth, or whathaveyou. I played RPGs more often before I started playing MMOs, though MMOs tend to be a background thing to play with a bunch of friends on a rotateing schedual, since they get rather dull. And in a party-like situation is usually when I break out a long round of a fighting game, possibly the only genre that I don't prefer on PC. Sports and Raceing are the only genres that I can think of that I just can't get into by and large, and have be my favorite at some point in time, Mario Cart being a abberation.
