They have these behind Apple Store, Best Buys, and Office Depots.

With determination and some thick gloves and late nights, you too can run Crysis on an entirely free computer.

God bless dumpster diving.

/true story
Don't forget the balaclava.
Also: why is the picture called dumpster sex?
*looks at file name*
What? Are there people having sex in the dumpster? Not that I'm judging or anything, but... Hmmm...

It's amazing the things that get thrown away, and occasionally someone slips on the whole "destroy the merchandise" policy. I once found a box with about 30 iPod Nanos in the dumpster behind an Apple Store. Presumably they were tossed because the new model was just coming out.

And, oh MAN, Gamestop dumpsters rock. I've found a DS, 2 Wiis, a HUGE BOX full of used Gamecube games, 3 XBox controllers, 2 PS2 controllers, 4 PS3 controllers, and an entire SHIPMENT of PC editions of Fallout 3 (with damaged cases). And that's only including the stuff I found that WORKS. You wouldn't believe how many bricked XBox 360s I have laying around.

I found a mandolin behind a library dumpster once... But I think the bet thing I've ever found in a dumpster was a live, human baby. Took him to the police and he turned out fine later.

Remember kids, dumpster diving saves lives! It also gives me something to do on the weekends...

Not only can you use more than one GPU, you can use multiple CPUs; some motherboards carry multiple CPU slots.
True, but only if you're running a server.
It most cases, yes, but not always [http://www.maximumpc.com/article/home/dream_machine_2010].
Holy shite. Do want. Nerdgasm. I... I don't know what else to say.

Yes, I've known about people who use an Nvidia cards in a Crossfire to utilize its PhysX Processing Unit, but that stuff isn't officially supported and uses custom firmware. It can be done, I just don't know much about it. As for use with another Nvidia card, I've never known anyone who's done it but I'm sure they're out there.
I've done it, using it now actually, and it's supported by the official drivers and whatnot. It came out 1-2 driver releases ago, but it's definitely there. They call it "Multi-GPU" instead of SLI.
Very interesting. It's good to see official support for things like these.
