So, when I was in 8th grade I was playing Dragon Warrior 3 on the GameBoy Color. I was playing through one of these wierd game board things that the game had with my main characer (the "hero" class) and I got into a monster battle. I defeated the monsters and went up a level. 'Cool' I thought to myself. And then I went up another level. And another. My character went from level 32 to level 99 after defeating one monster. It was the coolest glitch I'd ever seen.

So, anyone else have any glitches that they were glad existed in their games?

Knights of the Old Republic: Sith Lords had a similar glitch where as you enter a certain part of the Korriban ruins you will find a Jedi corpse (by now you learn that corpse looting insights the wrath of invisible dragons?) and you can loot the corpse multiple time, thus inciting multiple invisible dragons, and then you can force lightning them to death. I had fun watching my Xbox slow to one frame a second after I forced lightning over forty dragons. It was easy and made leveling super easy because you got great XP.

I had an old Micky Mouse game for the Sega Megadrive (I can't remember which) that when you paused only the player's sprite paused, and when you pressed up, down, etc the frozen sprite would move around the screen No clip style. If you paused in the middle of the attack animation if you touched an enemy it would kill them. It was awesome. Also the game only worked in my machine for some reason.

More recently (i.e today) I was playing Batman: Arkham Asylum today and was doing one of those sections where everyone has a gun. In this part you had to take down the henchman in the control room before the others, or you fail. I was sneaking behind someone when he turned. I bataranged him, and for some reason he just stayed down, not unconscious, just lying down. It meant I didn't fail the mission. Yay!

I've always found Pokemon glitching to be fun myself.

As for the DW3 glitch, I was never lucky enough for that to happen to me. Just not enough tickets+bad rolls... Though theres another fun one by the first tower with the re-occuring villain whos name I forget. There is a river splitting a higher level area from the low level one you are in, but theres a zone overlap right on the edge where you can fight some monsters that are big enough to one shot you. I spent forever verifying I wasn't insane to my friend who was also playing it at the time.

Halo 3 on muti player. My spartan laser started firing like a galting gun from the hip. I mounted a gatling gun turret when i just finished firing a spartan laser. The power of the laser with the rate of fire of the gatling gun. Best part was unlimited ammo and it didn't stop firing. I stood in the cornor away from everyone to be fair because anything i shot died. teamates enemys didn't matter. Some great screenshots though

In Oblivion, when you finish the quest involving Count Skingrad being a vampire, he pays you 5000 gold(I believe.) If you talk to him again, he says the same dialogue as before and gives you another 5000. You can keep doing this forever.

Why do invisible dragons attack you when you loot a corpse? I never played the game.

Something about being attracted by force users. It's one of those plot holes the writers were never given time to fix.

The Black Hole glitch in Super Smash Bros Melee is nifty, as well as the infinite ammo Super Scope. The latter is especially nifty although nigh impossible to pull of without a friends help.

Both are on youtube if someone cares enough to actually look them up.

And also Missingno and the Korriban Infinite Hssiss Spawn glitches are useful. Infinite Masterballs and stat upping items anyone?

My favorite glitch would be the Missingno glitch which let you get infinite items.(I've forgotten the actual way of doing it)

Besides that, today I was playing COD5 when suddenly everyone started flying. This was strange enough, but for some reason I flew way higher than everyone else and was sniping them from about 50 km above the ground.
