Well, it's sadly starting to look like my Dr Dre Studio Beats (please don't laugh, they were a gift and I actually ended up really liking them because they fit my head better than anything else I'd ever used) are on their last legs so I need a new pair. These will be used on a daily basis so I'm willing to spend whatever is necessary (within reason, so no $2000 audiophile or professional audio technician headphones).
These will be used for listening to music while studying as well as for keyboard practice (which the Beats absolutely suck with, by the way). I'm looking for:
*Longevity, expecting them to last for several years. Good, solid build, can take being jostled around in a backpack while I'm on my bike.
*Noise cancellation, I need complete isolation when working
*Sound quality and fidelity (duh)
*Comfort. I like a little bit of weight and "solidness" but I also don't want it squeezing on my head or shifting around. Also, I wear glasses, so it's very important that they fit comfortably over them.
Not as concerned with:
*Wireless or Bluetooth (I don't like having to recharge things, I want something corded)
*Microphone
*Appearance (It's a library, not a social club.)
Advice?
