Well, since it hasn't been said, I thought Visari's speech at the intro of Killzone 2 was epic.


Black also had a good intro. Simple, yet effective.

I'm sorry, but this clearly belongs to X-men Origins: Wolverine. So far as action goes, nothing has been better.

Story-wise, who cares. It's an intro, I have an entire game to worry about story... But I'd go with Arkham Asylum, including walking through the Asylum with Joker in restraints.

I'm a really big comic book fan, don't judge me...

That was an awesome game and an awesome intro. Makes me want to call my mom and tell her to send my PS2 right now. But, there was one thing I noticed that I found odd. When those tanks were advancing, they all aimed their cannons at something. What were they aiming at?

American McGee's Alice. It's not the best game in the world, yet still manages to be my answer to most questions.

My favorite would be the intro to Dead Space. It heavily rips on Event Horizon but who care, it rocks.
The much maligned Halo Wars has a decent intro too.

The Mass Effect 2 intro would have to be my favorite "oh shit" moment.

Gotta admit, I'm a fan of the DoW II intro.

thats just epic.

Left 4 Dead intros are also fantastic.
