I love James Bond movies, particulary the old ones (Sean Conery and Roger Moore ones). With Skyfall I ask you: what is your favorite Bond theme song?

My favorite is "Live and let die" by Paul Mcartney, which is ironically one of my least favorite Bond movies.

So, opinions...

You can edit your posts, so you don't have to double post to fix things.

OT: I've always been rather partial to 'The Living Daylights'.

Yes. Live and let die was the title of the movie. Roger Moore was Bond.

Live and Let Die is a good choice, but for me:

Great song, and great clip...unfortunately the clip is much better than the actual movie.

I quite enjoy "You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell for Casino Royale

Or if we're able to include the games as well, I quite like "Everything Or Nothing" by Mya for the "Everything Or Nothing" game, which is one that wasn't based on a movie.

But to be honest, the best James Bond song wasn't made for James Bond and never has been on anything to do with James Bond

When I got caught up in the hype for Skyfall I DL' all the songs and this one and probably Aha's "The Living Daylights" were the ones I listened to the most.

I have a soft spot for You Only Live Twice, and to some extent Goldeneye, but nothing beats You Know My Name.

"View to a Kill" and "Live and Let Die" are both great, even if it pains me to list the latter given how much I generally dislike Paul McCartney. Give me the GNR version any day.

My favourite, though, is easily "Another Way to Die." Seriously great tune that not only its well as a Bond theme but also stands alone on it's own.

As much as I love Adele (and I do love me some Adele), and as much as I get that they were going for the classic Bond theme sound with Skyfall, I just don't find myself caring for it all that much. It's good for a classic Bond theme, but I just don't want to listen to it outside of that context.

It's a toss up between Live and Let Die and You Know My Name for my favorites. However, I do like Goldeneye as well.

However, the worst theme song? Easy.

Even Another Way To Die wasn't that as bad as this.

For me Bond music is ALL about the brassy horns, so my choices have to be Goldfinger.

Man with the Golden Gun has my favourite variation on the main theme though

I'm really like the Octopussy, Thunderball, For Your Eyes Only, and View to a Kill theme songs.

I didn't like any of the Pierce Brosnan era songs (Goldeneye, Tommorow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day). They were all pretty much rubbish in my honest opinion.

The new Adele one for Skyfall is rather good though.

I do love the Goldfinger theme.

Both the theme song and movie are stone cold classics in my opinion. Love classic Bond films even though I did enjoy Skyfall it has to beat Goldfinger and Man with the golden gun as my favourite Bond films.

I was surprised to find that out too, then I promptly felt like an idiot.

I love Live and Let Die (the song, never saw the film), but as a Bond theme, I can't really say if it's a good one. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, but...

Also, that title sequence is spooky as shit:

EDIT: I'd also like to add that my favorite Bond song that's about the films but wasn't made for them is this:

Your move, Potatiskiin.
