My Awesomely Curly brown hair. Got me the nickname locks.
I also had awesomely curly brown hair recently which got me the nickname Curly Fries for a while, but I've cut it off now. My sister straightened it one day because I kept saying that 'Curls get the Girls!'

Anyway, I think that people probably know me for my gaming habit, listening to a fair bit of metal, playing the drums and my friends say I have pretty funny jokes/comebacks.

Agreed. I don't get what women find so fascinating about our Curls.. but oh well, High Five!

I'm best known for picking out the most fun current-gen games among my friends / class, and also known for the best in creating original ideas about games and comics.

My hat (a £25 bowler with various feathers and badges on it) and my surname (Wingard). These two things, combined with my social ineptitude earned me my own royal society for the prevention of cruelty to me (Wingards), courtesy of three girls in sociology and a strange sense of humour.

Among my friends, I've got quite a reputation for my style of gameplay. Regardless of my skill on a game, I can almost always make someone laugh by the way I play. Sometimes my friends tell me I seem like I'm perpetually high on weed.

I see you've played Knifey-Spoony before.
When will you Australians learn? In America, we stopped using corporal punishment, and things have never been better. The streets are safe. Old people strut confidently in the darkest alleys. And the weak and nerdy are admired for their computer-programming abilities. So, like us, let your children run wild and free! Because, as the old saying goes, "let your children run wild and free".
...You really are as good as you said you were at this. Though I do believe I detect a faint scent of Google somewhere here. I could be wrong.

That's one of the best lines in the Simpsons, though. So ironic. The streets are safe, indeed! Haha.
I will admit, I did do a little research to get the quote exact, but I did know the quote I wanted to use. I also know how the internet can be, one small mistake and I am no longer an expert. I figure a little research never hurt anyone.
Then I suppose we can add "modesty" to the list of things you're best known for.

I always come up with something interesting. If a party is boring, I'll think of something.

That, and my sense of humor.

I also don't take sh*t from no one. I don't care if it's a teacher, policeman or a bouncer, I won't let him to push me or my friends around.

I'm probably best known for my artwork (and wasting of said talent), and being a walking sponge when it comes to trivia and such.

Being an arrogant, elitist jerk who is good with words and entertaining at parties.
Omg, you changed your avatar back to the FMA one? pick a damned face already! *shifty eyes*
Never.
Seriously Max, it's hard keeping up. I think you should go back to Billie Joe Armstrong.

OT, probably my iPod. I actually have the weirdest taste in music ever.

I'm known for (in my group of friends/acquaintances) for being the only girl that actually enjoys playing video games as a hobby and doesn't-pretend-to-like-them-just-to-get-the-attention-of-every-guy.

Also, I'm quite perceptive and observant. Just by spending about five minutes with someone, I can generally see what kind of person they are. So far, I've been 96% correct.
I gotta say I haven't met many girls who pretend to be into gaming to get guys.
That's surprising, considering they're a dime a dozen where I live.
Blast you Canada and your sexually liberated nerds, why are there no women in Britain that pretend to like gaming to impress guys... mainly me? XD
Okay, it wasn't to impress you, but I actually know nothing about games, which raises the question why am I on here..... (And it wasn't just to get a guy, I was looking for friends generally and if I happen to get a boyfriend, awesomesauce...)

As for the OP (hang on, you are the OP...., on topic then) I am not really well known for anything. I derail threads, but I'm not as well known for it as say Sky or Max. A lot of people online have told me I seem really nice and friendly, but that's about it.
Wait... "it wasn't JUST to impress you", not "just" aye? :D

Saying "it wasnt to impress you" would have stopped peoples rumours and suspicions. XD
What are you on about weirdo? There is no "just" in my post. You must be imagining it......

So now the rumours and suspicions will start about you and your crazy mind..... XD

Well there is this one thing...I'm a bit worried it would count as shameless self-promotion if I put up the link but I have a few bits of written erotica on deviant art that's been viewed several thousand times. It's an overall small number compared to other things people have put online but that's probably as popular or, prestigious as I'm ever going to get (especially considering how long it's been since I've written or drawn anything and posted it)

7,516 for a shitty (not erotic) drawing I made back in 2008 and, 6,366 short story which ironically is not erotic at all despite the erotic leanings and subject matter. If nothing else I'll be known as that enigmatic deviant art poster who does awesome erotica but almost never includes actual sex scenes.
