and inb4 Marter says Scorpion King 3.
Well, I'm glad that the true, and factually only, answer was brought up before I had to remind all of you that The Scorpion King 3 is the best movie ever made.

Because it is. You know this in your hearts to be the truth.

I'm going with the Usual Suspects. Most entertaining lie every told.
This. Thank you! My all-time favorite ending to a movie.

No ones said Shawshank Redemption yet... I'm honestly surprised.
This^

The best movie ever made, possibly. The best movie I've ever seen definitely.

The Social Network.

I had an english exam the other day. We were meant to write an essay on The Girl with the Pearl Earring, but I hadn't read it so I wrote mine on The Social Network instead. Still waiting to see what my teachers will think, I got like 3 pages done and I think it was still pretty good.

No Citizen Kane? I am disappointed random people of the internet!

Anyway I have seen way to many movies to give a clear favourite, but Brazil is definitely up there as well as Moon and Pulp Fiction... Oh and you can't forget The Room of course.

I freaking adore Moon.
Sam Rockwell is a TREMENDOUS actor, Clint Mansell wrote a gorgeous score, and it's one hell of a debut for Duncan Jones as a director.
Not to mention that Kevin Spacey has an AWESOME robot voice.
Duncan Jones, I think you mean Zowie Bowie my friend, you wouldn't want people to forget whose seed he once was. As for me, the Best movie ever is probably the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, which counts because I always watch it in one continual sequence. Yes I also watch extended edition, needless to say it keeps the weight down.

Monty Python's Holy Grail.

It's very bizarre and not very serious, but it's in my opinion the best movie ever made.
Fine, I'm probably being very biased here, since Monty Python has been a part of my childhood and I very much enjoy British comedy.
But hey, you did ask for my opinion.

Hard to pick as I have top films in various categories. For example Kung Pow is the best movie ever when Im drunk, Army of Darkness is the best movie ever when Im feeling nostalgiac, Initial D is the best movie ever when Im feeling in a racy mood.... I guess my general all round favourite movie would be Goon though.

Well my favourite would be Memento, it's so god damn awesome with it's twist and utterly unique story telling mechanic.

Though, I'll also mention Shawshank Redemption, voted by hundreds of thousands to be imdb's top movie. And, when I first saw it, it made me happier than any film ever. So bonus points to that

As much as I adore Scott Pilgrim vs The World, the winner has to be Vampire's Kiss.

All argument is invalid.
Uh, I believe you are mistaken. That's not from A Vampire's Kiss. That's just footage of Nicholas Cage on his way to do his grocery shopping.

Here he is on his way back (he took all day and forgot his shopping)

It was probably that sonic movie, the cartoon one with the Metal Sonic. I think his name was Metal Sonic or Mecha Sonic or Robot Sonic or Bad Sonic or Gray Sonic or Grey Sonic or Laser Sonic or Not Sonic.

I think it won an award somewhere, not sure if it was on earth though. That scene when the mayors daughter was being kidnapped was a really intense part, I do remember that. Critics generally agreed that Knuckles performance played by Knuckles was slightly lacking, but the cowboy hat made up for it I personally think. Other than that the movie was pretty much better then any other movie in THIS galaxy atleast. Not 100% sure about the other ones, my galaxy knowledge is lacking.

I think people were hoping that this movie would clear up the confusion with Tails being a girl or a boy. It did not however. Most people agreed on the statement "I'd fuck that and I am not even gay" as a multi-gender, attraction, anybody is allowed to like Tails in that way kind of thing. The mystery helped push the movie into greater success I like to think sometimes in my bed.

All in all 1999 was a good year for earth. So you escapists should probably give it a rent, cause it is the best movie of all time and junk.

I think we all agree the best movie is Battlefield Earth. It has reached such a level of bad it crossed some sort metaphysical barrier to become epic win.

On a more serious note i'd say Batman The Dark Knight and Schindler's list (they are both very good in their own way so it's hard to put one above the other)

Dammit, I always SUSPECTED it was too Cage-like to be a real movie...
