Alien - When it first bursts out of the guys chest.
Exorcist - *full 360 head turn*
Matrix - Neo dodging bullets on the roof.
Psycho - Shower scene, knife comes in and stabbing music begins.
Jurassic Park - T.Rex breaks through fence and attacks main cast.
Wizard of Oz - Almost all scenes in that movie, my favourite was watching the animals and house spinning around in the tornado.
Mary Poppins - When all the bland nannies get blown away and Mary makes her entrance.
Casablanca - Walking away into the myst scene.
Fantasia - When the fish start to evolve or the final scene. Almost all scenes in that too.
Terminator - "I'll be back"

There is a million great/famous scenes, don't know how your gonna make a list.

For me it's LoTR Return of the King (might be extended version can't tell the difference anymore) when the Witch King destroys Gandalf's staff. For some reason I just really love that scene.

Commando-Arnold Schwarzenneger. Every line in that film from him is pure gold.

Hot Fuzz (best movie ever made)

The Church Scene (Murder #3 in this vid) Starts at 3:10

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhFuYn6liKk&feature=related

If you havnt seen the movie...GO AND WATCH IT NOW!!! Dont watch the vid if you havnt seen the movie because it will spoil the surprise!
That's funny, I was just rewatching it today

Anyway, the ending to Fight Club (someone said it already but fuck it I loved that part)
The ending to In Bruges (has no one, other than I, seen this movie?).
"Search your feelings. You know it to be true!" is amongst my favorite movie quotes ever.
And the scene in 28 Weeks Later when Don Harris is running from the house and infected just seem to pour over the hill toward him.
That scene in Evil Dead 2 when fucking everything starts laughing.
That part in Apocalypto where the asshole (wikipedia calls him "Middle Eye") slits Jaguar Paw's father's throat in front of him.
"Let me tell you about how I got these scars..." (that or when Gordon is appointed as Commissioner).
The whole classroom scene in Battle Royale.

The scene in Dr. Strangelove where the captain rides the nuke - the single greatest "YEE-HAW" moment ever

The scene in Kill Bill 2 where The Wife rips out Elle Driver's eye - seriously, who saw that coming, that was so cool (and if you did see it coming, shut up)

The scene in The Godfather where Michael's nephew's baptism is juxtaposed with all the murders, I always found that so powerful. Either that, or the scene where Sonny is ambushed at the toll booth.

Here are just a few of mine: they're all spoilered for... well, spoilers.

When the captain shoots Ofelia and leaves with his baby son, only to be confronted with the resistance at the exit to the labyrinth. He hands over the baby, knowing he has lost, and requests that they tell his son the exact time his father died (as his father did to him). But before he can even finish talking, Mercedes interrupts: "No. He won't even know your name." The captain is then shot.

See, most movies think that an especially bad villain should die a particularly brutal death. But Pan's Labyrinth got this right: rather than gutting him or something, the actual death was simple. But the look on that man's face when he knew, for half a second before he died, that everything he wanted, his family line, the only thing he desired in life, would not come to fruition... that was amazing. They didn't kill him brutally, but they crushed all his hopes and dreams before he died. Brilliant.

I know everyone already knows this, but whatever. When Darth Vader reveals that he is Luke's father. I was in denial for like two weeks after that.

When this comedy takes a much darker turn and Shawn is forced to shoot his mother as she turns into a zombie. A prime example of a great comedy that is not afraid to create genuinely emotional and tragic moments: a rarity in America. Thank goodness for British film.

The moment the first note of One-Winged Angel hits, memories come flooding back, and we know we are about to witness a battle of epicness comparable only to the original fight against Sephiroth.

When Wikus decides to turn back for Christopher and owns everyone in that mech. In a movie full of injustices and tragic mistreatment, I got tremendous satisfaction out of finally seeing the tables turn.

At the end when Lazlow's plane is taking off and the Nazis show up. Renault stands there, glaring at Rick like he is going to turn him in and says, "Round up the usual suspects." Classic line, amazing moment.

These are but a few. There are many more, but those are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.
