*search bar approved btw* today in history our teacher put on a movie to distract us while she was busy with some marking of papers or something... either way she put in a movie called mississippi burning, it isnt that great a movie but William Dafoe really does make the movie a lot better
so too all the readers what movie have you seen where its only been mediocre but its had a good main actor to make it bearable if not good

My history teacher this year made us watch Dr. Strangelove for the last few days.

I loved it, but everyone else looked bored.

Oh, also:
The Patriot
Hotel Rwanda
Glory
Gladiator
Troy
Pretty much any movie that shows in my history classes.
History is awesome.

Maybe Lord of the Flies. Or To Kill a Mockingbird. Worst movie? Romeo + Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio. Just. Awful.

In my Health class, the teacher would have us watch a movie since she couldn't teach anything herself. It usually at least somewhat pertained to our weekly lesson so...
Forest Gump, apparently has something to do with physical injuries.

Still, the first time I saw the movie, and it was awesome.

We watched part of Superbad is my math class 3 years back.

The teacher (Who is a pretty cool guy, eh teahces maths and doesnt afraid of anythin) had never heard of it (he was probably busy being a beast) and said sure why not.

We got to the box of dick drawings, and then he stopped it.

Fun times.

History was always the best subject to watch movies in.

Outside of history class though, I have to say Apocalypse Now was the best movie I have seen in school.

My A.P. Lit teacher showed it because we where reading Heart of Darkness. We didn't get to watch the whole thing though on account of time constraints. Still awesome.

I got to watch Saving Private Ryan, a few times actually. That would be the best one I have seen in school.

I first saw Casablanca in a Film as Literature class. Yeah.
Nice. We got to watch "Premonition" and "Pride and Prejudice", not bad movies, but not fantastic.

Up!

That was a good day.
WHAT!

What class did you see that in?!
I saw the movie "UP!" in my band class. But that was a movie night that we did to brake in out new projector and sound system! :D

OT- I'd have to say "Forrest Gump" we watched in 8th grade to tie in with Vietnam, the 50's-80's, and some other stuff.

In/at school?

Lesse... I hated Top Gun (but loved the soundtrack), EVERYONE groaned when they said were going to watch The Matrix, Toy Story did absolutely nothing for me, I almost threw up when the Social Studies teacher decided to make us watch Sex in the City the day before she quit...

I'm going to say either Austin Powers or Rejected.
