Just rewatched Repo Men, damn but that was a good movie!

What's the best movie you've seen recently then, Escapists?

Probably Chronicle. Damn, that was a great flick.

Since I saw it, I've been daydreaming about what it would be like to have telekinetic powers like that.

The Cabin in the Woods. MovieBob is not kidding. Don't listen to anything anyone has to say about it other than to go see it. Ignore all spoilers and plot information.

If you like horror movies, sci-fi, or movies in general, The Cabin in the Woods will pay off like you wouldn't believe. Go see it. Now.

Well all the films I've seen recently are pretty kickass. Source Code, Robocop and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Source Code gets extra points for having Russel Peters though xD.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time - the anime film.

That film was awesome. I loved that it had the girl doing things any normal person would do with the powers.

A few actually.

Watched the entire Dollar triliogy (Though the third movie is so damn slow by the end)

Watched Snatch (First movie where you see Statham being sorta the whimp.)

Watched Leon: The professional (Apparently Leon is italian in that movie. In what way is he not French?!)

Watched all 4 Rambo films (1st one: loved it. 2nd: liked it. 3rd: same. 4rth: loved it, and it's the only one without some crappy 80s pop song during the credits)

Watched The Dictator (First Chaplin movie that I've ever seen, and I loved it. I've only seen his sketches before)

Watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (The arch nemesis of the Shaky cam)

Watched Sword of the Stranger (Amazing fight choreography and an amazing soundtrack. It does sound a little off though, having a Japanese person speaking chinese.)

I love that movie too! Though the ending really got to me. I got the entire soundtrack, but because of the ending, I could barely listen to it, until days later.

I re-watched Forrest Gump the other day, it made me laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time.

Finally saw The Green Mile, absolutely awesome in every way. So was Last King of Scotland for that matter.

Honourable mention to 'The Premonition' for it's so-bad-it's-hilarious factor.

God Bless America.

I almost guarantee it'll make it into my top 10 this year. It only won't if all the November/December flicks + Dark Knight Rises/Avengers end up being incredible.

I have watched so many good films lately. I'll give a top 3: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apocalypse Now, Dr.Strangelove.

Seeing as I rarely watch movies, I only have like five movies to pick from..

I'd say my favorite that I've recently seen was Kick-Ass. It was everything I expected it to be: a dumb, silly, violent (in the awesome, Fallout 3-like way) movie with a dark side. And it did all of that exceptionally. It was smart, while still being one of the most fun movies I've ever had the pleasure to watch.

Back to the Future, of course. It's that one movie that I just have to watch whenever I see it's on.

Only ones I've seen recently were the Hunger Games, 21 Jump Street, and Drive. I'm quite aware of Drive's critical acclaim and popularity, but I honestly enjoyed 21 Jump Street the most of all of them

21 Jump Street for sure.

Chronicle was amazing but 21 Jumpstreet took over the #6 spot of my top 10 favorite movies.

Their first arrest sold the movie and more.
