Metal or BPM does it for me.
Lately it's been the new Machinehead live album, but before that it had been Swedish House Mafia.

Anime OSTs
Oh?

In that vein, Senji's theme is part of my regular selection for workout music:

I've been fucking obsessed with it lately!

There's some choice action OST in One Piece, too.

The OSTs for the later seasons of Red vs Blue are pretty good, too.

I currently find The Weakening, Bonded by Blood and Dawnbringer to be a snug fit for me and my workout regimen... sample:

But I still mainly stick to Slayer, Devin Townsend, Richthofen or Japanische Kampfhoerspiele.

...and a nice little slow jam for cooling down: <youtube=sRz-HueVd0w>

Ah, that explains everything, cause of the flag you have in your account.
Also I speak with greeklish cause I am lazy as f*ck to put "τόνο" in greek language...

It depends for me. Sometimes I prefer relatively mellow music like Buckethead, Infected Mushroom, etc.

But if I'm mad and working out? I'm cranking Hatebreed, Chimaira, Periphery, Karnivool, For All Eternity, Becoming the Archetype, etc.

I don't always have to be mad though, sometimes it just boils down to how determined I need to be I guess. :D
Wait, Why to work-out and be mad at the same time?
Working out relieves stress and is a great way to cool off if you're angry. That way you don't have to take it out on others, etc.

I switch it up depending on the workout. If I need to really get in the zone, I just throw on Hatebreed's Rise of Brutality album. In addition to it having all the heavy distortion and anger I usually like in workout music, most of the song's messages are about overcoming adversity through inner strength and dogged determination. It's like motivational hardcore.

I've actually stopped using music and started listening to audiobooks even when working out. Nothing beats getting lost in fiction while on the treadmill/bike.

For me, it's usually Tabata timer when I work out, or some generic hard rock when I'm doing high intensity training. For stretching, and relaxation purposes I recommend my all time favorite, I rarely need something else to get me relaxed after a good training.

i don't know why, but this one is my soundtrack when i work. yeah, it's silly but efficient
if not i just go for something by AC/DC (big difference, i know)
I don't find this strange at all.
In my first CD I created I have a similar song I hear and I KNOW is weird to hear it while I work out, but I can help to love the quick bit music have.

Here is the song:

Music......so.....catchy....

As I said early to other user, hen I work out I am in peace with myself because when I hear a music I like I create a "movie" in my mind I enjoy to not feel exhausted.

However, I forgot to mention that when I was angry in the old days, I used to pick up a baseball bat and start hitting a old cheap mattress. Vry good feeling I must say ^^

But to be angry and work out? I know my case and this is the same, but I believe if I am calm and I enjoy the music at the fullest work better for me.

Interesting. What kind of audio books are you hearing when you work out?

Actually its not really a specific kind that works for me, I just listen to the kinds of books I am likely to get really engrossed in. I love fiction with a political theme or Science fiction so I generally keep to the Orwells, Ayn Rands, Asimovs etc. Perhaps trying to listen to something incredibly slow or difficult like Nietzsche isnt exactly recommended, but then again I didn't really enjoy Nietzsche even when not working out so... ;)

That, my friend, is a work of art. This song can inspire you to do anything, especially during a work-out!
