Heh, greeklish looks too weird.
Working out relieves stress and is a great way to cool off if you're angry. That way you don't have to take it out on others, etc.SweetShark said:Wait, Why to work-out and be mad at the same time?MonkeyGH said:It depends for me. Sometimes I prefer relatively mellow music like Buckethead, Infected Mushroom, etc.
But if I'm mad and working out? I'm cranking Hatebreed, Chimaira, Periphery, Karnivool, For All Eternity, Becoming the Archetype, etc.
I don't always have to be mad though, sometimes it just boils down to how determined I need to be I guess.![]()
Unfortunately, the video seems is no available to my countryel_kabong said:I switch it up depending on the workout. If I need to really get in the zone, I just throw on Hatebreed's Rise of Brutality album. In addition to it having all the heavy distortion and anger I usually like in workout music, most of the song's messages are about overcoming adversity through inner strength and dogged determination. It's like motivational hardcore.
I don't find this strange at all.Matt S Hoimyr said:i don't know why, but this one is my soundtrack when i work. yeah, it's silly but efficient
if not i just go for something by AC/DC (big difference, i know)
As I said early to other user, hen I work out I am in peace with myself because when I hear a music I like I create a "movie" in my mind I enjoy to not feel exhausted.MonkeyGH said:Working out relieves stress and is a great way to cool off if you're angry. Interesting. What kind of audio books are you hearing when you work out?Kekkonen1 said:I've actually stopped using music and started listening to audiobooks even when working out. Nothing beats getting lost in fiction while on the treadmill/bike.
Actually its not really a specific kind that works for me, I just listen to the kinds of books I am likely to get really engrossed in. I love fiction with a political theme or Science fiction so I generally keep to the Orwells, Ayn Rands, Asimovs etc. Perhaps trying to listen to something incredibly slow or difficult like Nietzsche isnt exactly recommended, but then again I didn't really enjoy Nietzsche even when not working out so...SweetShark said:Interesting. That, my friend, is a work of art. This song can inspire you to do anything, especially during a work-out!SweetShark said:snip for WOAH-OH-OH-OH!
