I find him about as hilarious as pulling my fingernails off with a pair of heated pliers..... Then dipping the tips of my finger in Vinegar followed by salt.

Although I did like him in The Jackal.

Where he lasted 5 minutes until Bruce Willis shot him.

Ehh, he's ok. I think I prefer his musical stuff - both Tenacious D and his collaborations with Dave Grohl in bits and pieces. I'm really not sold on his movies though. He's just alright. He's not an especially funny comedian/comic actor, but I do respect his musical chops.

I do sort of like Jack Black, but usually in small doses, he's a bit hit-and-miss. That said, did anyone see Bernie? That film is totally fantastic, he's really, really good in it.

I used to enjoy his stuff a lot more when I was younger and I think its safe to say that I've 'outgrown' him. He is definitely geared towards younger audiences and as a result can be a bit painful to watch for the older viewers. Still, Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny is one of my favourite movies and I still find it very entertaining. Also, he was really painfully terrible in Tropic Thunder but I'm going to blame that on poor character writing, as I know Jack Black can do way better.

I must say I'm not too keen on him. Mind you, I don't think I have seen him in much else other than School of rock, which I didn't really enjoy, so I am probably not in much of a position to comment. (And yet I have commented anyway... Oh well...)
