Crossbows and Catapults. Interestingly, my brother called me from some store last night saying he'd found the modern update of this game on the shelf. We used to "upgrade" the catapults with extra rubber bands. Several windows were broken. Good times ...

The ninja Turtles action figures and my old batmobile were my favorite toys for me growing up.

I had a girl-crush on Sailor Moon when I was younger, as you can probably tell from the avatar. I had a large collection of toys and goodies, my favorite being the moon wand that lit up and played music when you put the silver crystal in it. It scared the dog, so of course I would chase her with it, caught up in my own fantasies and heedless of the inflicted terror.

I'm gonna go with Lego. I used to love Lego sets. Not using my imagination; god no, but all the different sets. They were just such fun.

Transformers and Lincoln Logs. I about had a fit when I heard the Optimus Prime I sold for $15 at a garage sale went for $10,000 at an auction.
Can I say ouch.

I had a small bit of lego. I had some captain planet figures and a big godzilla dinosaur. The G would destroy every other toy in a fight!

I played a lot with the little plastic soldiers that other kids melted with a magnifying glass.

When I went to a store, the first aisle I went to was lego, they were the only toys I ever bought as a kid (besides dinosaurs)

I loved me some legos back when I was younger, I did I did. Just something about making stuff out of small, easily eaten blocks that little kids love.

Lego <3

In the days before they splurged in licenced crap (Starwars not included) and sold castles and pirate ships and cool shit.

Long Live Lego.

Nothing tops the older stuff though, castles, moonbases, pirate ships, those are cool. The new things they bring out now, those Bionicle things, not so fun.

Crossfire!

(EDIT: It's really hard to try to type that guys voice from the commercial.)
Haha, Crossfire was awesome...

I personally like Koosh balls, and slot cars. The old slot cars were the best.

An honorable mention to pogs. Not because they were awesome, but because they were essentially cardboard disks with pictures on them and yet most of us became obsessed with them.

Ah, good old stick. Stick and rocks, funnest and still useful, like if i wanted to break and enter, or beat somebody up.

Distrubingly enough, my own hands. Every time I went on errands with my mom, I would put my hand on every little thing like Spiderman. Or would that be HANDMAN!

I have about 5 cardboard boxes full of mutilated gundams. When I was younger ,I delighted in buying gundams, then ripping them apart and customzing them from the ground up.

I used to quite like those Bionicles. I have a few of the earlier models when they weren't just welts of spiky, coloured plastic with tribal-ish names.
