When he grew older he quit jumping up on the table.. Then i changed his name to "buddy"..

I call your "Liquid" and raise you a "Solid".

Name it "That Slithery Thing".

I think it's because Characters refer to Liquid in the games instead of always using Liquid Snake all the time. Where as Solid Snake is referred to either Snake, or Solid Snake.
