OT: The best kind of avatar is one that represents what a particular user is interested in most at the time, or a depiction of an overall theme the user can relate to as a whole. The fact that most of the people in this thread are referring to their own avatars isn't unexpected, just the easiest choice. The fact of that matter is, people love attention, and will do anything to get it. As for an avatar, what is important is to choose something you will like.
