Best PS1 game that should be remade

I would love to see Dragon Seed and Legend of Mana (does anyone remember these?) remade for the PS3. My nerdy little heart would prolly poop itself if I ever heard that announcement. The world also needs a new HERC'S ADVENTURES game but I hear they're trying to put that on the PSN, can anyone confirm?


Anywho, Which PS1 game do you think deserves a PS3 ressurection?

I'd mark for a Legend of Dragoon remake. Hell, I was planning on firing it up again tomorrow.

Pretty much the entire Squaresoft library could safely be remade. Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Vagrant Story, Threads of Fate, Saga Frontier, Final Fantasy, Brave Fencer Musashi, and Parasite Eve are all among the finest games to be developed for the PSX. You could also throw in Megaman Legends, Resident Evil, and Dino Crisis from Capcom.

If I could see only one, probably Legend of Dragoon.

Alas, I was beaten to my choice by three fellows swifter than myself.

I got to the third disc, then some jackass stole my PS1, and I didn't have a Sony system after that. Emulation crossed my mind, but I was busy most of the time with other new games. I'm playing through it now on my PSP.

I'd petition for an HD remake if that would DO anything. :|

Also, FF7 just so the fanboys would shut the fuck up about it.

Another vote for parasite eve (to see the body horror in HD) and FF7 (mainly cause I can't stand the games popeye bodytype no matter how much I love it).

It was the first JRPG to use Polygons in stead of sprites, the first to use pre rendered FMVs and it poularised JRPGs in the west.

It was pretty fucking revolutionary.

I recall playing this action game on the PS1, but I can't think of the name.

It was a mecha game, but not MechWarrior or Armored Core, and you play it out like a Chinese rip-off of Gundam.
It was a pretty fun 'blow the crap out of everything you can' game.
