Best PS1 game that should be remade

I would love to see Dragon Seed and Legend of Mana (does anyone remember these?) remade for the PS3. My nerdy little heart would prolly poop itself if I ever heard that announcement. The world also needs a new HERC'S ADVENTURES game but I hear they're trying to put that on the PSN, can anyone confirm?


Anywho, Which PS1 game do you think deserves a PS3 ressurection?

I feel like pulling out my many yatzee quotes but instead i would have to crash bandicoot. I have many ps2 games i would like remade but i won't metion them. instead i will wait from someone else to make a ps2 version of this. Or maybe i'll make it myself.

It was the first JRPG to use Polygons in stead of sprites, the first to use pre rendered FMVs and it poularised JRPGs in the west.
It was pretty fucking revolutionary.

Shame it was GOOD.

I recall playing this action game on the PS1, but I can't think of the name.

It was a mecha game, but not MechWarrior or Armored Core, and you play it out like a Chinese rip-off of Gundam.
It was a pretty fun 'blow the crap out of everything you can' game.

Pretty much the entire Squaresoft library could safely be remade. Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Vagrant Story, Threads of Fate, Saga Frontier, Final Fantasy, Brave Fencer Musashi, and Parasite Eve are all among the finest games to be developed for the PSX.

Xenogears, I'd want them to keep the general style of the original, redraw the sprites, get better voice actors ,add frames but most of all I'd want them to finish the second dang disc.

Chrono Cross would be good, yet again keeping with the style, but TOTALLY revamp the characters, to be a small tightly knit cast that all actually have a stake in the world shattering events instead of getting....Macha....in your team.

Hmm, I'd rather leave my favourites in the corner of my brain dedicated to 'Nostalgia' so I can continue to look back at them with rose tinted glasses. Because I'd rather keep it as it is than see it potentially get ruined.

But, if I had to pick, it would be Future Cop: LAPD. Seriously. There aren't enough good mech games out there.

No your right, I just haven't owned a Nintendo console since the N64. I just think it would be badass to see young Snake in HD without the octocamo from MGS4.

the Colony Wars series to start, Xenogears, the Chrono series, agree with the futurecop game, the front mission series(a caveat if they were going to redo front mission it would need to be done like valkyria chronicles....for maximum win)
