I am very pleased to see this as the first response. Jak is easily my most favorite series of video games, followed only by Half-Life. Jak is severely under-rated. . .it's really sad :'(Mikeyfell said:

I'd got my knee busted and was laid up for 6 weeks. My brother gave me this to keep me sane. It worked. Probably the only game I've ever bothered with 100% completion of.

Hands down God of War. I had visceral action, levelling and health systems based on being a brutal animal. Kratos was a brilliant main character, everything about the game was aesthetically pleasing and the story was top notch even the ending was satisfying though a slight downer. Greek tragedy at it's finest and it would only have been better if he'd actually been allowed to commit suicide.
