Best Recent Purchase

What's the best thing you've spent money on recently? It could be a movie or game you got out of the bargain bin, a brand new console, or even something as simple as a cheap hat that you always wear now. My choice, and the purchase that inspired me to create this thread, was Muse's new album The Resistance, that was released just a week or two ago. Picked it up when I heard about it, and I can't stop listening to it.

I recently acquired the collector's edition of Assassin's Creed and Kameo Elements of Power for only $15. Twas a very good deal in my opinion.

Halo 3: ODST. Two reasons for this. 1st is that it actually is a good game and secondly that it came with the Mythic disc with all Halo 3 maps plus 3 more.

The Resistance is solid proof that all good bands don't go shit on themselves in their later albums.

Anyways, I bought Uncharted the other day for twenty bucks and am pretty happy with it.

I picked up a 2ndhand copy of Condemned a little while back for about $20, much better than the $100-ish pricetag on it when it came out!
And my copy of an EP by Hypocrisy called Maximum Abduction... the cd is kinda turtle shaped its weird and awesome

HA! I agree! I bought it too, absolutely love it, though it's not my favourite album. I was just listening to it, had to switch to Unintended for nostalgia. ;p And I Belong To You has to be my favourite song, just going to throw that out there.

Thats essentially two games i've never played for one very sweet price.

I like that pic...I like the ad even better though. Another that I've thought of, not sure if it counts as a purchase (well I paid for it, so it sort of does)the passing of my driving test. No longer will I have to get a lift to antwhere.

The best thing I've bought recently was the game Geist. It had some fairly original gameplay and a great story. Totally worth it for a mere six bucks.

Yeah I like I Belong To You, but my favorite has to be Guiding Light, not quite sure why, but it's the main one I can't stop listening to.
Also if I'm not mistaken, wasn't the album cover your old avatar?
