Best show you have been to

The best show I've seen is a toss-up between seeing Queens of the Stone Age and Rise Against. QOTSA hasnt been to Boston in years so that was sick, not to mention they sound friggen amazing live and Josh Homme put on a great show. Rise Agaisnt was simply fantastic. They played pretty much an amazing setlist, with the exception of not playing Behind Closed Doors, and the mosh pits were fun.

I hope to go to Lollapalooza this year and Warped and Mayhem would be nice if I have the money...

I've only been to 4 concerts so far (5th one this summer!) and they are: Tran-Siberian Orchestra, Blue Man Group, Mayhemfest 2010 and Ozzfest 2007.

Blue Man Group was absolutely amazing and a one-of-a-kind show.

Between to the metal concerts Mayhem was better than Ozzfest.
The lineup for Mayhemfest was:

Also the Metal Mulisha had shows throughout the day. It was a bad ass concert.

EDIT: I plan on going to Warped this year since Mayhem gave me the middle finger by saying Trivium would play at my venue then changing them with Hatebreed who I'm not a big fan of and have already seen twice...

I saw AC/DC in the summer of 2009. Pretty sweet.

Might be going to Ozzfest this year.

Even though I am not a massive fan of their music I couldn't help be amazed by U2 when I saw them during their vertigo tour. I also saw the 360 tour which was more impressive visually but was lacking musically.

Other great acts I've seen live:

Faith No More (latest tour)

Leonard Cohen (last two tours)

Muse (the two times I saw them)

Tool (twice for them as well)

Rammstein (fantastic pyros and other stage stuff)

The only concert I've been to is Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and what a concert it was! Amazing light show, awesome music. Some of the songs were a little slow, and the narration in the first half got kind of annoying, but the lights, fireworks, and awesome other music more than made up for it.

I doubt anything I see in the future will top it, except them again, when I go again this year.
