Im bored, and I want some PC games to kill some time. I only have a laptop, so online gaming is out of the question (try playing CS with the touchpad). Also keep in mind that it is nothing more than a "good" laptop, so nothing high-end on spec requirements.

Im pretty much primarily a console gamer, so throw me some suggestions!

If you have a Steam account, I would buy the ID Super Pack. 20 or so games, most of them classic, so they should run on any computer out today, like the Doom and Quake series. Costs $69.99.

Without a mouse, you're probably going to be looking more towards the RPG side of thing, specifically Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Nights. You could also pull off various RTS depending on what they are.

Im actually not terrible with the touchpad. Its no mouse, but I can still have a 0.5 ratio on CS (I suck at that game with a mouse anyways), so playing single player games aint that bad, especially after going through both half lifes with it.

Additionally, Pong can be played Vs. the CPU. Who doesn't love pong? It's that game that noone likes to play but can't stop themselves once they've begun to.

The single best one? Jade Empire. Or anything Bioware, really.

I don't think you can go wrong with Bioware or Valve on your PC - so long as you can find them at a cheap enough price. It's wierd how really great games like that get so cheap so quickly, but games like CoD4 (still a brilliant game, but not as great for me as most of B&V's games) are still just as expensive as they were last year...
