I think that was Filter that did the cover of "One" by Three Dog Night.

In my opinion, my favourite is Disturbed "Land of Confusion", Reel Big Fish "Take On Me", Barenaked Ladies "Lovers in a Dangerous Time" and Orgy's "Blue Monday"

I honestly prefer Michael Hedges' cover of All Along The Watchtower. But either of these notable covers are better than the original. I don't care if he is/was one of the most influential musicians ever, I can't stand his singing.

Anyways...some of these were just awesome to hear updated by my favorite bands ('Cars' and 'Battery'), some are just amazing re-works of original songs ('Holding Out For A Hero', 'In The Air Tonight', and 'All Along The Watchtower'), and some are just awesome homages ('Holy Diver', 'Master Of Puppets').
