Audiosurf has your favorite music as the soundtrack, so it automatically wins.

Next up would be Halo - though I would argue that for individual pieces, "One Winged Angel" from FFVII and "Still Alive" from Portal are the best.

Ooh, someone mentioned individual pieces. If there's a vote going for that, mine goes to "Maybe I'm A Lion" from Final Fantasy VIII (preferably even, the version by the Black Mages).

Best video game song evar.

For me it's a tire between FF6 and Chrono Trigger. Both perfect examples of music done right in a game with tunes that will stick. Every tune in those two games fix perfectly in the game, not one song sounded out of place. Then again anything made by Nobuo Uematsu is just gold.

For individual songs, I'd go with "Still Alive" (the version where Coulton himself sings it is never a stranger to my car's CD player).
As for as a group I have to say Wind Waker.

I find it weird when people say GTA 4, although there was music for the driving parts, obviously, there was no music for when you're on your feet.

I feel as if many games have very boring soundtracks. Despite how atmospheric or epic, those only feels as excuses for uninteresting music. So, my favourite soundtracks? The Ace Attorney games have great ones, as does the Metroid Prime series.
