Mighty Machines!

Basically, it was a show where they took real footage, gave the machines voices, and had the machines narrate what they were doing.

and I'm pretty sure Sooty and Sweep are off the air as well now. (
I found an old VHS of Sooty and Sweep the other day and it still made me laugh (well Sweep did anyway).
Sweep was always my favourite of the two, in my opinion.

Pokemon, the new episodes are very stale from what I've seen, but the oldies are still great...in their own way.
Also the Simpsons can still elict a good laugh from me, and Southpark still has me in stiches when I wanth it, though that's not really a kid's show.

I was a fan of a show called The Maxx when I was a kid. I know it's out there on DVD, but I can't get a copy of it. High demand cult classic TV.

I also loved Thunderbirds, but mainly for Thunderbird 2, not the storylines.
All about thunderbird 2, I still have a toy one somewhere (even shoots out a TB 4). One of my favourite shows from childhood

Definitely Looney Tunes, would still watch it today if they ever aired it. A couple others are: Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, Dragonball Z, and Invader Zim.

Father Ted. One of irelands greatest comedies even though it was made around 1994. It was made by our top irish sciencetis to make it so that it would last for generations and even people who don't understand irish humour would enjoy it :)

I still watch the Muppets and the original Scooby Doo. Granted both of those series were from well before I was the target audience but still. I think its only further proof to how well they hold up.

How has no one mentioned Power Rangers?
I watched a new one the other day; I guess they found out kids will buy anything on the show and there`s product placement everywhere. There were cards, motorcycles, weapons to the point where there was no story just "oh look monster!" followed by advertising their merchandise for the remaining 20 minutes. The older ones had some really cool martial arts moves and action scenes, especially considering it`s a kid`s show.
