If not, then I'd say HBO's Rome. Top 5 shows of all time no doubt about it.

The writer for that show (John Milius) was the inspiration for the character Walter in The Big Lebowski.

It's new years and I'm reminded that The Twilight Zone is the best tv show of all time...to me.

Dick Van Dyke Show
Seinfeld

I'm also really digging Game of Thrones & Newsroom too,kind of for the same reasons I love Twilight Zone & Cowboy Bebop: it has cinema quality content (for its time) in a TV show.

I also think I should give props to AOTS. Its gone now but that show was pretty funny when Kevin and Olivia were hosting.

buffy the vampire slayer up to the end of season 5. the following 2 seasons had the odd good episode but it wasnt up to the same standard

This pretty much. Honestly I enjoyed Angel on an overall basis more than Buffy, regardless of a couple of not-great seasons. That's just me.

I dunno that I'd put it among the best ever, but AOTS was indeed fantastic back when it was at it's prime.

I know what you mean. That's why I can't put it on my list proper but I to have to give them props.
That fat suit episode cracks me up every time I think of it.
