I think he is just refering to the Family Guy episode in which Peter interrupts the movie after the initial scene to say "Its is sled. Rosebud its is sled. There I saved you 2 hours of your life from a boobless movie."
That was the best twist ever. Totally annoyed by it though...
Also (mild spoilers...)
Why do your ghostly weapons not hurt ghosts? If you're dead, and their dead, how can you not hurt them with weapons, and they can hurt you with weapons?
I still don't fully believe that Memento's real story is as simple as they say. I think the "exposition" at the end is just another mindfuck. At the end of the day, I think it's up to the viewer to make up their own mind as to what really transpired.
Brilliant film, in either case.

Because no-one honestly expected George Clooney's character was building THAT.
I liked the twists in Persona 3 and 4, and Fight Club was a good one... but I felt that the best was the end of NightWatch, the Russian horror/fantasy movie
He turned his son to the supposedly evil side because he tried to abort him because he thought he was the son of the guy his wife ran off with, and he also nearly accidentally stabbed him with a screwdriver which lead to him revealing this... then he just punches the leader of the 'bad' guys in the face for about a minute for setting this whole scenario up
This film not to be confused with british/german horror movie DeathWatch, which featured a slightly less good twist:
all the horror was unleashed by the german soldier, who may not have been human afterall, and he only harmed those who mistreated him, allowing Jamie Bell to live on and flee
Back to the Persona games
Persona 3: the chairman lied all along about killing the shadows saying that killing them would save the world, when instead it doomed it, and stooped so low as to doctor Yukari's dad's last message to his family to serve his evil purposes, as well as controlling Aigis with the intent of killing her friends
Persona 4: the murderer was the wussy policeman
There's one last one which I never saw, but had described at length to me by my eldest brother, from a film called The Eyes of Laura Mars
The serial killer was the seemingly trustworthy policeman all along, revealed when a door opens to reveal him trying to kill the main character, apparently
ps: I split it up like this partially for convenience, and partly because I just worked out how to do the spoiler thingy because apparently I'm a bit slow...
Two hilarious twist endings I've seen are No More Heroes and Panty and Stocking. At first I was like "What the fuck?!" but later laughed at how over-the-top they were, and how they literally came the fuck out of nowhere.
This example isn't really a twist-ending per se, but I do consider it one of the best twists I've seen in all of media; it's certainly one of the most memorable.
From the notoriously divisive anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion....
IT'S ALIVE!
Occurs at the very end of episode 19, concluding a battle with one of the most potent of the Angels encountered). Eva-01 reactivates yet again.... but this time, it's different. It adopts a more feral stance, and proceeds to slaughter the Angel. Then it eats it alive. In the span of a few minutes, the Evangelion removes all doubt and confirms that the "Humungous Mecha" never were robotic at all (the exterior appearance being a mix of armor and restraints); even moreso, it establishes that it has a will of its own. Both the brutality of the scene and the significance of the event shocks (most of) the cast, and the audience is left rather dumbstruck (for the same reasons) as the episode concludes with the beast roaring in triumph.
In retrospect, the fact practically no one sees this twist coming is pretty funny. The series is rife with subtle foreshadowing, but in this case it hardly is. Eva-01 went berserk no less than three times before this point, and even displayed regenerative abilities as early as the second episode (when it first went berserk). The two preceeding sorties to this one, it went berserk both times (with very bloody results). Heck, the first episode even refers to the Eva as a "bio-mechanical weapon". The only real difference this time is how it acts; and in doing so, no one is left doubting how significant the reveal finally is.
And this is what makes it such a great twist, it doesn't come out of nowhere. All the pieces are shown beforehand, but the audience still isn't expecting it. It's not random nor baseless, just well-played.
The ending of the series (more specifically, the film The End of Evangelion) could be called a twist as well, but it's a much milder one:
Both SEELE & the commanders of NERV want to stop Third Impact, which is what the primary cast is fighting to prevent for the whole length of the series.
The fighting off of the Angels was just them stalling for time, and so they could do it on their own terms.
It can certainly seem to be a bigger twist due to the bizarre nature of said ending. However, the first twist is the big one. People see it coming, and the first twist even is a critical piece of the foreshadowing for it.
