Sarcasm: We all love it even if we don't want to admit it, whether it be subtle or in-your-face.

So fellow escapies, us being the snarky indie people that we are [/joke], what is the best use of sarcasm youve seen or heard, it being from friends, tv shows, ect.

If you can, it would also be great to say a particular favorite quote of sarcasm from the person as well.

The Colbert Report.

Seriously, all the political commentary on that show is written in sarcasm.

My mother.

She has enough sarcasm to sink a battleship and I've inherited that.

A sarcastic quip for every occasion. I have been compared to Chandler Bing on more than once. :S

I loved him when he went on the O'Reilly Factor. I think everyone go tthe joke except for O'Reilly, even his crew was cracking up.

The phrase,

"Errors have been made, others will be blamed."

My favorite of the top of my head.

I suppose you're right. Judging by your grammar and spelling, you can't afford to lose any more. :D

Unfortunately, OP, I can't really pick a favorite. There are many who display a sardonic attitude so well that I couldn't possibly choose. I can say, though, that I appreciate hard-edged, biting sarcasm a bit more than other forms, as displayed by my response to the gentlemen/lady (I can't be buggered to clarify) above.

A co-worker of my brother's. Both work in a pub.

Brother: You look annoyed.

Co-worker: He's less than a year old, he can't clothe, feed or clean himself but apparently he's a *vegetarian*!

The House of Commons, it runs on the stuff.

"My esteemed opponent..."

"My honourable opposite..."

etc, so thick you could build a house on it.

A girl in my class is freaking awesome at using it, mostly cause she doesn't seem like the type who would use sarcasm, but be fooled by it.
