The Orange Box. I've played over 90 hours worth of Team Fortress 2, and at least 30 more hours playing all of the other games.
It's especially awesome when you consider that the Orange Box is now $30 and offers this much gameplay, as opposed to other games that offer 5 hours of gameplay with no replay value for $70.

Like most people here, the Orange Box. Team Fortress 2 alone makes it $.40 an hour. Or infinity per hour considering it a gift.
Although dwarf fortress is also a free game, so the few seconds, minutes, hours, or days I may have spent on that game will be infinity per hour.

See I just got into orange box and so I cant claim that, WoW I could claim, but the arguement of additional $15 dollars a month comes in and really, I've never been a huge wow junkie, just got my 360 (comp gamer) so I would have to say.....the untold hours, days and months of my life lost to either Star Craft or Diablo II (including expansion) and I'm proud to be the first person with that up.

I'd say TF2 just because of the ridiculous amount of free stuff valve have showered me with but that wouldn't be very original so I'm gonna say audiosurf. It's dirt cheap and if you're a big music person, you can get hundreds of hours out of it just experimenting with different songs you hear and trying to find the absolute perfect song (best I've found so far is probably Rockafeller Skank by Fatboy Slim).
Over the past ~7 years, I've logged on around 3000+ hours on StarCraft. Considering I got SC+Brood War for like $40, that's $.01 an hour. Not bad.
C&C:Red alert, like 54 hours and CoD 4, 14 days, only game i've played that much. oblivion 107 hours, fallout 3 80 hours.

heroes of might and magic V damn that game gave me some quality gaming value and so did its expansion packs I have no idea how long it took me to go tho thoes games, definatly over 100 hours for the first one
