In Battlefield: Heroes when you're busy shooting at a target across the map, and suddenly a plane flies in from the right-hand side of the screen dragging itself and your ragged corpse off of the left hand side of the screen.

I liked the TF2 death stuff. Because I mean you would die and it would be like "Oh look, you lost your shoe! Let us point it out for you! Here is your head, here is your body, and wayyyyyyyyyy overe there is your shoe!" I liked laughing at those.

If your after highly amusing deaths, try nethack. I found a wand of conjure food, conjured myself some eggs and died 4 hours later of food poisoning. Crawling around for the last hour of the game looking for indigestion medicine was priceless.

Most of the "deaths" in Eternal Darkness. But since those might be not considered deaths, best would be any death you could make a joke (preferably an ironic one) about. Like I was playing L4D last night on survival and two of my teammates die so I jump off the building I was on screaming "I will not be eaten!"

My faveroite way is to get pecked to death by roosters in ocarina of time, because lets face it, its absolutely hilarious.

Seriosly, how can you rate it E when every wrong step ends up in a skillful animation of a 13 year olds death complete with a scream of horror? I still get nightmares from those disgusting cave worms.

I personally love driving at break neck speeds in GTA4 on the fastest motorcycle possible, and then plowing into an oncoming car.

Because the ragdoll physics are lol to the extreme.

My favourite is any high speed death in just cause, or getting hit by a random falling plane.

This one just happened less than 5 minutes ago. I'm playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, on a BMX, with the super bike jump code activated, and I'm riding down the street, I jump, hit my head on the freeway overpass 3 stories above me, which knocks me off my bike and drops my health to half, and then I fall to my death. I laughed, then remembered this thread, which I had read earlier.

what was your favourite way to die on a game. it could be from a game when you were little such as heart of darkness and having a shadow throw you into the air and then swallow you whole or being chainsawed in half on gears of war.

one of my personal favourite was being mauled to death by killer turkeys on south park(playstation 1)

Throwing the game system into the bathtub, I guess.
