I can't remember either the name of the weapon or the game it's from, but the player clamps himself to the ground, then the whole level turns upside down, causing all other players to 'fall' upwards. Then the level turns back to normal, letting all other people fall to their deaths. Any idea what game it's from and what the weapon is called?

I love player guided rockets in any game- (the kind where you immediately shift to the first-person perspective of the missile) - old quake had a good one because the explosion took out half a room. There was just something satisfying to seeing someone run and try and zig-zag out of the way of death death at their heels.

It is undeniably amusing, however you need something like the BF2142 gunship otherwise people whack you over the head while your immobile.

Does the adjustable function MK2 nanosuit count as weapon?

I like the swords in most games, quite versatile buggers. Except in Halo, then they're only used as 1-hit kills.

In an FPS, I like the basic assault/battle rifle. You try to keep calm when you see a guy with an M-4 Carbine running at you.

Ah the chainscythe from .Hack and any ofther melee weapon combined with some form of chainsaw or ranged weapon. Like the Dark Star; Soul Eating Chain Staff Of Doom.

The Redeemer from Unreal Tourney (pilotable nuclear missile) that is if you can find somewhere to hide when you launch it.
Otherwise the Flak Cannon, drop a flak shell on someone and watch them explode into little bits
(the sniper rifle would have to rate an honourable mention, take someone out with a single head shot.... nice )

It's from the game Armed and Dangerous.

I don't remember what the gun is called but that was a fun game xD

Ranking on size I'd have to say the Scorpion pistol from Red Dead Revolver...that thing takes of arms and it's only a six-shooter!
