I liked the Rob Dougan tracks for the Matrix films.
Great music.
I concur. Ahh, good times.

I loved the new Guns 'n Roses track "If the World", at the end of Body of Lies, which was, coincidentally, a kickass film.

You Only Live Twice by Nancy Sinatra
or Childhood's End by Pink Floyd (though I can't remember what film it was from, it was from their Obscured by Clouds album)

Batman forever had one of the Best sountracks in history. The only good U2 song, Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, and Seal's Kiss From a Rose were two amazing songs

Paramore-Decode. And no, I have no watched them film, nor do I ever intend on doing. Or reading the books.

MCR's 'Desolation Row' cover's pretty awesome too.

I dug the punk rock cover of Bob Dylan's Desolation Road by MCR on the Watchmen soundtrack.

So sue me. I dig Bob Dylan and I dig punk rock, and feel free to tell me it's not a punk rock song because it's being played by 'those gay MCR boys' and I'll tell you your full of it.
Okhay, I'm telling you, My Chemical Romance is NOT Punk Rock, I don't know how you made the connection, It's like calling Rhianna rap, or Nirvana metal... Punk rock are bands like the Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Lower Class Brats etc, bands that sound VERY different from "alternative rock"/emo which is what MCR is playing...

Seeing as this is a gaming forum, I guess I better throw the Highlander soundtrack out there. Though I'm really not that into Queen.

Breakfast Club? Was that written for the film? Is that a good song?

Somewhere Over the Rainbow?

Hmmm.. Moon River? Was that written for the film?

Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head.

Que Sera, Sera?

WAIT. It's obviously Shaft

Bad: Iris by Goo Goo Dolls from City of Angels. So...so bad.

Good: Tim Burton's Batman and that legendary Danny Elfman score. I'm going to be selfish and also mention the original Superman movie and its score.

"Still" and the reprise from Over the Hedge by Ben Folds. Actually, that whole soundtrack was pretty awesome all around.

The Ring Goes South from the LoTR soundtrack.
Oh, and nearly every song from Repo! The Genetic Opera is so. damn. perfect for that movie.
Chromaggia in particular practically makes me cry with joy.

I really like the song 'The Boxer' by Simon & Garfunkel, I'm pretty sure it came from the incredibly depressing film of the same name.

"Li-le-li~

BANG

Li-le-li-li-li-li-li
Li-le-li~

BANG"

etc...

http://www.last.fm/music/Simon%2B%2526%2BGarfunkel/_/The+Boxer
I don't think so. I looked it up online and the only movie to contain original Simone and Garfunkel was The Graduate. There was an obscure movie named the The Boxer in 1997 but it had nothing to with the band or song. They're a pretty popular band so it's possible another movie used that song as part of sound track.

Rule The World by Take That, from Stardust
i never saw the film
its good and bad, its an alright song, but its so easy to make fun out of that i cant take it seriously anymore
Song is good, movie is brilliant. Definitely worth a watch (I saw it twice on Sky Movies in as many days). On topic, do musicals count? If so, the entire score for the film of The Phantom of the Opera. Otherwise, I'd say 'Christmas is All Around Me' from the Love Actually soundtrack :D

Top Gun Theme by Eddie Van Halen

The only way to describe this song is: 'Victory Lap'

My mates and i play it whenever some one scores with a girl.
