Best would be Morrowind, GOTY edition.

Worst would be Rise of the Robots. On so many levels.

Best value for me would probably be Torchlight. I put in over 100 hours into that game and it only cost me $20

Worst game value wise would probably be Prey. I bought that for $50 and barely put in 5 hours on it.

Best was probably any Fallout game. Loads of Content, tons of replayability.

Worst? Every game that comes out these days. Yeah, sure..your game could have come out of Mark Twain's nose, flown through space and time, and been hand delivered to me by Master Chief.

Exactly why do I have to pay 60 bucks for a game with the same amount of content that a Gamecube game had? Oh, better graphics? Better tech? Yeah, you'd still make boatloads if you charged 30 bucks for new games, idiots.
Starcraft 2 cost $60 10 years ago, and most cartridge games cost even more before that. Be lucky that games dont cost more nowadays.

Best: Probably Railroad Tycoon 2 Platinum. Spent ~50 hours on it, got it for twenty cents.

Worst: Probably Portal. I've spent about ten hours on it, and dropped $20 on it. Not really a good idea.
... This post hurts me. :(
Was Portal good? It was GREAT. But it's also the ONLY game I've ever played, finished, did the challenges, and thought "That was almost worth the money." I never regret my purchases, and I almost regretted dropping $20 on Portal.

Best value on a game is proberbly Just Cause 2, i bought it on the internet awhile after release for about £5, then played the hell out of it racking up about seventy hours of gametime, i still go back to it for an odd hour or two aswell.

Worst title this is a difficult choice because i generaly only buy games i know i'll enjoy, i guess i'd have to say Savage, its an RTS combigned with First/Third person shooter/action gameplay in a team based Death match scenario, you have one person as commander for each team handling all the RTS elements and everyone else is a soldier, the game itself was actualy quite good but it was so full of people cheating and so on i gave up. I recall the moment that caused me todo so, i spent ages farming money and kills useing the sniper electron staff thingy to save up and upgrade my character to a behemoth with huge health pool and massive dammage basicly so we could attacked the enemy base, i took maybe three steps out of my own base only to be insta killed by somone with the basic weapons and no upgrades because he was cheating.

Best valued would be Vampire the Masquerade. Got it for $5 on Steam.

Worst would be Gears of War. Paid full price for it, and gave it to my brother in law two months later. Shouldn't have bought the hype.

Edit: Decided to replace Deus Ex, as VtM has given me far more game time.

I got my Nintendo DS plus Pokemon Pearl, Advanced Wars DS and Castlevania for $60 Canadian. Epic value!

The worst is probably Red Dead Redemption. Got bored with that game very quick, and I am a GTA fan. Thought the idea of Grand Theft Cowboy would be fun.

Mount & Blade: Warband.

Not many games out there manages to addict me into Singleplayer, Multiplayer and Mods at the same time for so long.
