Just yesterday, I was poking around through The Legend of Zelda series, as I am relatively-new to it, and I started looking at the recent release, Twilight Princess. I got something to say. Midna is adorable! She's very expressive and seems rather honest; telling it like it is. Of course, I haven't gotten to actually play the game yet, so my description may not hold complete accuracy.
There's also Kazooie. I particularly liked how she was in the original Banjo-Kazooie. When she spoke, it was often hilarious. However, in Banjo-Tooie, it got much more cruel and totally not funny. It was getting cringe-worthy and embarrassing. So, that takes some points off for me.
Also, I find it really stupid that Alix Vance is somehow on some lists. She's a rather bad character. She has barely any personality, especially compared to the less-important NPCs, and she exists almost purely to make the player feel good about himself. AI is good, but as an actual character... she's kind of insulting, and is more on the level of a "get back to the kitchen" type of female character.
