Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics have finally returned. And now Elder Scrolls games before Oblivion are here. And Id Software shooters are here (Doom 1, 2 and Quake 1)

I have been dying for Morrowind to be DRM Free now its finally here.

Captcha: awesomedude!

So this is why people post the Captcha on their posts.

Morrowind.

Good.

I now have it on GOG. I don't really much care about the others (well, I do have the Fallouts from before) but I'm really happy Morrowind is on there. I'd like it if they put on Daggerfall and Arena on GOG, as well. Yes, I know they are free, but it's just more convenient to be able to get them alongside other ES titles (and GOG already has bundled games anyway).

They do offer Arena and Daggerfall.

Buy any of the Bethesda games and you get Arena and Daggerfall aswell in GOG for free. You said you just bought Morrowind, do you see the other 2 games in your library?

Actually, they are. It didn't occur to me to check for them. That makes me really happy now - good guy GOG has me covered, by retro implementing my wishes :)

I just saw this myself

When the metal in my Morrowind disks finally oxidizes and makes them unreadable in an optical drive (circa 2040 or so) Ill finally have a non-drm option. GoG are gods and I hope that Bethesda lets other games move over there as the years go forward

Seriously? I know Bethsoft owns the right to the franchise now, but they didn't make these games, so don't make it sound like they did.

Currently published by Bethesda, so it's due to them that the games are on GOG. Well, and it was due to them that they were pulled, but that's besides the point.

Besides, it's not like Quake and Doom were done by Bethesda - y u no complain about them?

Because he mentioned they're ID games, which he didn't in case of Fallout.

Yet they are under the banner of "Bethesda classics".

Morrowind on GOG!?

Shut up and take my money...again! Seriously, this is going to be the fourth time I've bought this game...and I don't regret it in the slightest. Maybe I'll finally get around to completing the main quest this time...

...Aw, who am I kidding? I'm going to end up pseudo-roleplaying[footnote]aka "faffing about and chasing after random stuff."[/footnote] like I always do. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Faffing about always seems to be more interesting than the main quest for Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, imo. That's only meant as a slight jab at the main quest and more as praise of faffing about.

In case anyone was wondering, I own fallout 1 and 2 but no elder scrolls 1 and 2. So you probably only get those along with Bethesda developed games.

Or, in other words, if you get the rest of the Elder Scrolls series.

I really hope Bethesda puts some of their later titles on here as well, I know they are still kind of in love with DRM and this decision is really playing it safe, but at least releasing Oblivion and Fallout 3 on there would be nice, I doubt we'll see Skyrim anytime soon, which is a bit of a shame but maybe in 2025 we'll get it, not like I won't still be playing it then too...

And yet hilariously all the popular mods essentially include a nice, traditional crack that skips the DRM in the name of stability.
