Bethesda should hire Obsidian to help with the Dialouge and NPC design in the next TES game.

Ugh.. when NWN2 came out, it was horribly written and buggy as hell.. a horrible game, but then mask of the betrayer came out and it was.. awesome. So whoever was involved with MOTB would be good.

But like peeps said, bethesda were douches to them so not sure if they'd work together again.

Bethesda should just hand the reigns for the next Fallout game over to Obsidian and leave it at that. If given enough time to finish it, they could easily craft a game that beats New Vegas in every category.

I would have refused to give Obsidian a bonus solely from Obsidian exacerbating the bugs from FO3 and adding a myriad of new game breaking bugs. I wouldn't want my engine to be made to seem worse than it already is.
Just as a point of clarification, Bethesda were the ones in charge of QA testing with New Vegas. Obsidian were given the engine to work with, and they can't reasonably be blamed for all the bugs that were left in the final product. One can't always be expected to craft perfection out of a pile of trash.

Why bother?

Bethesda's dialogue sucks, yeah, but they can quiet clearly sell games despite it. Besides, having dialogue by one developer and everything else by another would be troublesome.

Honestly, I don't know why you'd want Obsidian dialogue anyway. I can't think of a single game of theirs that had any dialogue worth a damn.

inb4 Obsidian sucks because of KotOR 2

I think it would be cool yes. Plausible no. Though I am glad no one has brought up KotOR 2 yet like they did in my version of this thread(I bet you stole this idea from me).

Frankly I would just be happy if Bethesda realized Nev Vegas was 10 million times better than 3 and was an actuall fallout game and just gives fallout 4 to Obsidian. As it is I am eagerly anticipating Fallout New New York(Obsidian's Fallout 4, and yes that was also a Doctor Who reference).
