$200 AUD? Hahaha, no. Is this a marketing stunt to make people rage over the price for free advertising and then Beth goes "Ooops, our bad. It's actually $50 cheaper than that." and gets brownie points from the fans?

Sweet collection of stuffs, but of course everyone outside the US is getting screwed. The US dollar is the weakest of those four currencies mentioned. If the US price is basically $150 (I'm not going to use the lying retail trick of $x.99), then the Euro price should be around ?120, the Australian price should be $140 and the British price should be probably about £90.

I'm getting pretty tired of seeing the world get the shaft just so the US can pretend they're not in as deep a hole as they actually are.

It's not that bad a deal really considering you get a huge art book with it and that nifty stature. I do wish they'd include a soundtrack (I don't recall seeing that on the list anyway).

Sorry, I'm too smart to pre-order Bethesda games. A clever gamer knows that they'll always release "Game of the Year" Editions, then charge exorbitant prices for the DLC that is FREE in these Editions to all the people who thought they were smart to pre-order.

They'll be lucky if I get the GotY Edition at this rate, the way they keep doing this.

And it's a shame. Skyrim is still the game to be excited about. I just don't like consumers being jerked around into paying extra to play the game on release.

behind the scenes dvd is pure win in my eyes, but there's no way I'm paying $200 for it. the book of art is lame and could have been put on a disk, and the dragon looks cool but if there's one thing i learned from buying the halo 3 legendary helmet, it's that i don't have the self space for nerd-chendise and it'll just end up being another expensive pastic lump in the attic. but I'll be sure to put in a pre-order now that I know I'll get that awesome map. i geuss I'll have to cut back on my weed intake and start saving money.

$150? No thank you, Bethesda, but I'll be buying the collector's edition of Mass Effect 3 instead.

these 2 sum up my thoughts pretty much dead on. i would have expected something better in general to be honest, but charging that much too? too rich for my blood, i'll just get the regular version of the game... and a map.
Well, I'm sure the statue and the book themselves come close to the extra... Wait, I just did the currency conversion like those above. Jebus H, that's one Hell of a mark up. £40 extra for the CE over the US.

GAME have the CE listed, but they've once again put the price for the PC edition as the same as the consoles. That's really starting to get my goat, now. Why do PC users have to pay, overall, £10 extra for the same stuff? The PC version of the standard game is £30, consoles £40. So the console people pay £90 for the CE stuff, but we pay £100? That's a joke.

CE boasts a Nord-sized price tag of $149.99 in the U.S., ?149.99 in Europe, £129.99 in the U.K. and $199.99 in Australia. Yowtch.
are non-europeans too dumb to figure out money-conversions to euro?
3DS costs 249 dollars, and 249 euros.
I dunno... Are Europeans too dumb to know the price of things?

3DS $169.99
nope, 3DS is still 249, as we're not august 12 yet.
Give it a week and you're still wrong.
so "you'll be wrong in the future" is valid way of proving someone is wrong today, is it?
You're original point was that the price is the on par even though currency is not. He's just looking for a fight.

And with the new prices they will still be the same price anyways.

I want it so bad, shame its $200 here FML. And considering compared to america our economy is great. I seriously don't think it costs that much to ship it here from China or Taiwan, where ever there mass producing it. Oh and I have a decent level of understanding in most sciences.
