i'd love to see the Elder scrolls 5 come out, i love oblivion so it would be a plus for me..

The only way that any Elder scrolls game could have a multiplayer is if they let it be like with 1 other person, so you could raid various locations with a ranger and a Warrior without needing to swap weapons every 2 seconds. or When breaking into a house, 1 person to work the thieving and one person to stand by and watch the exits.

like having backup or whatever.

Oh well, Gotta be hopin.

Whatever it is, it's guaranteed to have unnerving zombie looking people for npcs.
Don't forget enough bugs to cover the world five feet deep; both gamebreaking and minor.

if there is one thing i have learned, if it's not an open world RPG by Bethesda then it sucks (pretty odd, ain't it?)

I really do hope they're working on The Elder scrolls 5. It's been over four years since Oblivion, I'm starting to get a little impatient here.

ELDER SCROLLS 5!

Please be set in Summerset Island.
Or maybe the Ayleid island?

EDIT: But 10 bucks on it being Wet 2: The Rewettening.
Or the whole of Tamriel! My god, it would be awesome!

But yes, it's probably something else. Something shitter... like Wet 2: The Moistening

Also, what kind of name for a game is Wet? It just screams mediocre and, well, wet.

It's looking like Elder Scrolls 5. Fallout 3 is still fairly new with all it's DLC and not to mention New Vegas..and Oblivion was one of the first releases on the 360 if my info is right. So it would be more logical to go with another Elder Scrolls game.
Not to mention that the GOTY version of Fallout 3 is still pretty new.

My god, I hope it's the Elder Scrolls, and I hope it takes more inspiration from morrowind then oblivion.
This is exactly my feeling too. After playing Oblivion at a friend's, I didn't buy it, and just replayed Morrowind again.

Although it would be interesting to see what they'd come up with if this is a new IP as well...

I don't have ability to care. I would, but all my hype-fused energy is already being put into Bioshock Infinite.

But I'd be happy with F4 or TES5. Both sound good to me.

How about an open world Sci-fi shooter in the style of Morrowind that takes place on a few different planets?

Elder Scrolls 5 is not really secret...
I mean, they have to be working on it... And we all know that...

Ayleid island? I have a wide knowledge of the elder scrolls series, but I have never heard of that...
were have you heard this?
In UESP.
It apparently sunk into the ocean way before even Morrowind.

You can read about it in the Oblivion book series 2920, where some king visits the island, filled with Dragon people.
You're thinking about Artaeum, which is quite small and inhabited by an order of philosopher wizards, but I've never heard of any dragon people.

The next ES game is almost certainly Skyrim, as Bethesda trademarked the name as they have done before the release of other games. Also, a certain ex-developer turned contract writer has been all excited about the province on the forums for a year now.

Still, I worry about the game. To my knowledge, there are like three people left from the Morrowind development team and a lot of new blood that doesn't seem to know or care much about the series. They even lost Ken Rolston, who was great at game design even if he had some stupid rules forbidding creativity. Worst case scenario we get a 'streamlined' user-friendly action RPG designed around the right tumbstick, taking place in a Walt Disney Viking themepark.
